VENUES FOR OUR ACTIVITIES
Courses and workshops will be carried out at several different venues such as at the Scuola Diocesana di Musica “Santa Cecilia” (Via Bollani 20, Brescia), at the Chiesa di San Giuseppe, at the Museo Diocesano di Brescia (Vicolo San Giuseppe 5, Brescia), at the Chiesa di Santa Maria del Carmine (Contrada del Carmine, Brescia), at the Chiesa di Santa Maria della Carità (Via dei Musei, Brescia) and many other locations for rehearsal and performances during the academic year.
On specific occasions such as BIEMSSF, our Department cooperates with other organisations and festivals from Central and Northern Italy: BIEMSSF takes participants to Brescia (S. Giulia Museums and Auditorium, Capitolium – Parco Archeologico, Chiesa del Carmine, Archivio Capitolare, etc.), Reggio Emilia, Lake Garda (Maderno, Salò, Sirmione), etc.

HOW TO GET TO BRESCIA
Brescia is well-connected to the rest of Italy and Europe, and is easy to get to by air or land. The city is located in the centre of the northern region of Italy, very close to Milan.
By car
On the A4 motorway there are 3 exits for Brescia: Brescia Ovest (West), Brescia Centro (Centre) and Brescia Est (East) www.autostrade.it
By train
The Railway Station (Stazione) is close to the city centre, just 15-20 minutes walking from Piazza Loggia. If you prefer you can get the new subway MetroBrescia (one stop to Vittoria – city centre)
Brescia is well connected throughout Italy, being on the Trenitalia, Italotreno, TreNord railway lines.
